We're the Boedigheimers. And we made this for you.

Our Story
Boedy's Marketplace started with a big idea, a new laser machine, and a baby boy who needed his mom home.
In December 2021, our son Elijah was born. Between rising childcare costs and a vision Anita had been carrying for years, we made a decision: she would leave her career as a medical assistant, stay home with our boys, and build something of her own.
We launched officially in March 2022. Anita quit her job that August. And Boedy's Marketplace was born, a business as wide open and creative as she is.
The Name
Boedy's is short for Boedigheimer, our family name. Growing up, any Boedigheimer in sports or group settings got nicknamed “Boedy,” a way to spot one of ours in a crowd. It stuck. And when it came time to name the business, it felt right to carry that name forward.
We chose “Marketplace” because we never wanted to put a ceiling on what we could create. This isn't just a print shop or just a laser engraving studio. It's a place where Anita's creativity and drive to learn have room to grow.
About the Black Walnut
You might notice a black walnut tree woven into our logo. That's not an accident.
Standing on John's family's property, land the Boedigheimers have held since the 1950s, is a black walnut tree estimated to be over 300 years old. It was there long before any of us, and God willing, it'll be there long after. To us, it represents roots, resilience, and the kind of quality that's meant to last.
Those are the values we bring to every order.
Meet Anita
Anita is the maker, the designer, the problem-solver, and the heart of Boedy's Marketplace.
She started making jewelry in high school at her mom's shop, Manita's, in Silverton. She painted custom signs for friends and family through college. She spent years in the medical field sharpening her attention to detail and care for people. And now, she runs a growing custom goods business from our home in Stayton, while raising three kids with her husband John.
What makes Anita different is that she doesn't back down from a challenge. New materials, new techniques, new ideas: she figures it out. She can paint, engrave, design, build, and create. And she genuinely loves the work.
The Boedy's Promise
We're not a big box shop. We don't outsource your order to a warehouse. Every piece that leaves our home is something we're proud to put our name on.
Quality you can see. Service you can feel. A finished product your customer, or your family, will actually be proud of. Without breaking the bank.
